17. Describe this character’s most devastating moment.
Her mother dying. Basja was fourteen at the time, and her mother had been out doing mercenary work and was killed. Basja and her father didn’t know about it for a long time, until a messenger brought the news to them. She had been incredibly close with her mother, and losing her was absolutely devastating for Basja.
24. Describe this character’s mother.
Well, this goes hand in hand with the last question! Basja’s mother was a lot like Basja - she had a huge influence on her and was the parent she looked up to most. Her mother was a mercenary of sorts, would preform odd jobs for money, and met Basja’s father through one of these jobs - she was supposed to clear out a group of bandits and tracked several of them for awhile, only to catch them trying to rob a man on the road. The man turned out to be a mage, but Basja’s mother still swooped in to the rescue, keeping him from being killed. Her mother was, in general, very brash, very forward, and incredibly self sufficient. She was a lot more introverted than Basja, though, and preferred to not be around large groups of people - unless those large groups of people were those she needed to kill.
45. Write one additional thing about your character.
Basja misses a lot of things from Cyrodiil - brandy, which she doesn’t find very often in Skyrim, and watermelons which don’t grow up north, and the warmer climate. She also misses her father, even though they didn’t part on the best of terms, and she considers writing to him often, though she doesn’t.
