Happy New Year, Everyone!
I hope you all have a fantastic New Year.
2011 had a lot of ups and downs for me, and there’s been a lot of stress and worry and loss, but you all have been wonderful. Fandom has been a fantastic thing to take part in this year, and very much helped when I was going through rougher patches.

I love how you can take a character we don’t really know much about and give them PERSONALITY
While I do wish that there was much more to the characters within the actual game, I do love that there is such room to play with them in fic.

They are a pairing I didn’t even think of until I started doing a whole bunch of Carver + rogue warden drabbles over on LJ. And now the two of them are one of my favorite pairings.
Probably in part because I get to write snarky Sigrun. And Sigrun is wonderful.

I am finally playing DAO on my computer
And it is so pretty. I didn’t realize that some of the clothing actually had patterns on it.
On the other hand, I sort of staring at the controls going: “you are so different from what I’m used to.”
Eh, I’ll figure them out.
Also, I think I am already going just a bit overboard on the screencapping. Expect at least one Kiva Tabris picspam in the near future.
